The Path of the Builder

Your Onboarding Journey

Five thresholds before you enter your department. Move through them in order — each one prepares you for the next.

I
Threshold One · The Mirror
Know Yourself in the Field
Before anything else, we meet you where you are. The Team Survey maps your nervous system patterns, working style, and relational tendencies — so the system can meet you, not just use you. Also add your birthday so your Human Design and astrology can help position you best within the team.
→ Team Survey Birthday + Chart Survey
II
Threshold Two · The Covenant
Agree to How We Work
Every relationship needs a container. Read and sign the team agreement and KPI model — two documents that define how we honor each other's energy, time, and output.
→ Team Agreement KPI + Contribution Model
III
Threshold Three · The Skills Mapping
Declare Your Capacities
Skills, bandwidth, communication preferences, and how you function under pressure. Complete both surveys — the capacity survey and the skill matrix. Results are shared with the operations team to match you to the right work.
→ Capacity + Communication Survey Skill Matrix Survey
IV
Threshold Four · The Village
Enter the Living Ecosystem
Join the channels, read the culture docs, access the shared knowledge. Slack for real-time co-creation, Drive for institutional memory.
→ Join Slack Internal Onboarding Doc Internal Culture + Policies
V
Threshold Five · The Sacred Yes
Consent to Your Workload
We don't assign — we invite. Review the current task list, update your status, and formally consent to what you're taking on. Sustainable contribution in practice.
→ Task List + Sign-off

Before Your Department

Set Up Your AI Agent

20 minutes. Backup first, Level 1 only, and a read-only test before any real work.

AI
Tooling · opencode
Install, Lock Down, Test
opencode is the operations agent for servers, CRM, email, and automation. Install it, connect your own model key, apply the safe config, then prove it can read without changing anything.

1. Run bash scripts/backup-before-opencode.sh in the repo.
2. Install opencode and run /connect with your own DeepSeek key.
3. Save the safe config to ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json.
4. Test: “Read AGENTS.md and tell me the three most important safety rules. Do not change anything.”
5. Stay at Level 1. Move up only after a backup and a successful test.
